Today see the release of Architect v1.11 with three new Beaver Builder modules; enhancements for photographers; multiple methods to display any field from any table; Gutenberg compatibility fixes and the usual plethora of tweaks and fixes.
The full changelog can be viewed on the Architect website
Wow! Version 1.10 a big release of Architect with a plethora of enhancements and fixes.
This version has a greatly improved Beaver Builder module, filtering by date, support for RSS feeds as a content source, it now uses Freemius for licensing and much, much more.
If you haven’t tried Beaver Builder, do give it a look. (aff).
This is the biggest update to Architect ever, so please take the time to read the changelog thoroughly.
Note: The Architect documentation is still not up to date, but should still be usable. That is my next project!
It should appear in your plugin updates in the next 24 hours.
With the imminent release of Architect v1.10, I am moving to the online sales platform provided by Freemius.
Previously I was using Easy Digital Downloads. The reason for move is simply Freemius provides more features and in a single package, with much simpler licesing.
Currently, only Architect has been migrated, but the others will follow.
For existing Architect licence holders, if you bought form the Pizazz shop, the transition should be smooth and automatic. When you install the update, it will handle the migration.
I know… famous last words!
However, I have done testing on many of my own sites, as well as some beta testers without any problems, as it wil use your old Pizazz shop licence. Therefore, if required to enter it, that is the licence to enter.
The only “problem” encountered so far is you may need to re-activate Architect in the plugins page.
I have made a small change to the unlimited licence, increasing it from $99/yr to $119, and its lifetime price also rises from $249 to $299.
Furthermore, the other licence levels now have a lifetime option. $99 for the Personal (2 sites) and $199 for the Business (4 sites)
If you encounter any problems, contact me at support@pizazzwp.com
If you purchased your Architect licence through Headway, you will not be affected by this as long as you use Headway as your theme. However, as previously posted, you should contact me to migrate from the Headway Extend store licence to a Pizazz shop licence.
With the uncertain future of the Headway Theme, it is important to transfer your Architect licence from the Headway licence system to the Pizazz licence system. Some users are already reporting licences are no longer working.
To do so, email support@pizazzwp.com with a copy of your most recent invoice for Architect purchase or renewal and a code will be sent to enable you to get an equivalent licence.
Architect v1.8 is out now and bring many tweaks and fixes, plus several new features, most notable are an improved and easier Blueprint editor and easier control of titles and content font size responsiveness.
For a long time, I’ve wondered if Architect would be even easier if each component type had its own tab in the Blueprint editor. So, I decided to find out. And the answer is a resounding yes.
Now you should find it even easier to get to the settings for titles, meta, features, body/excerpt, custom fields, and for the layout type you are using. What’s more, if you have Architect styling enabled, the relevant styling is also under each tab
Note: The documentation will be updated as soon as possible
Instead of setting specific font sizes for content and titles at specific breakpoints, now you can let Architect take care of it, by simply setting an upper and lower limit for your font sizes, and the breakpoints for those limits. Between those breakpoints, the fonts will automatically and fluidly scale in size. In the future, I will extend this feature to other textual components.
There is now an option, when you click read a more link, instead of opening the post, the content will slide down within the panel without leaving the page. You can choose to open it within the panel’s width, or zoom to 100% of your content area’s width.
You can see both the sliding content and the fluid fonts it in action on the NEM Creative website.
While you’re there, if you have a phone, check out how Architect’s adaptive design changes the product services from a grid on the desktop and tablet, to a slider on the phone.
For a refresher, check the tutorial on using Architect’s adaptive design.
ADDED: Excerpt trimming for Characters, Paragraphs, More tag

ADDED: Image Carousel preset the same as on the demos site.
Architect 1.8 has been pushed by myself at Pizazz, and by Headway so should be appearing in your WP plugin updates.
My Codex plugin is selling well. Do remember to look at it if you have a need for making online documentation.
