WP Auto Updating

Finally I have managed to get the WP auto updating working with my plugins.

By default, WP only checks for updates to plugins hosted on its own servers. Therefore I’ve had to search the internet for code to show the “Update available” message for my plugins which are hosted elsewhere.

After much finicky tweaking it is done and the next updates you get a message to download and install will be the last time you will have to do it the manual way.

PizazzWP plugin comes built-in now

Another great new change is the PizazzWP plugin is no longer a separate install. It is now built into each plugin. This one also involved a lot of mucking around and testing and re-testing.

Pizazz blog added

This blog has been added to the PizazzWP menu as well, enabling you keep up-to-date with the latest Pizazz news right from within your WP admin.

Updates for ContainerPro, ExcerptsPlus, GalleryPlus,HeaderPlus and TabsPlus incorporating these changes will be released later today.
